In this session, BC educator and author Adrienne Gear will share her goals and beliefs about effective writing instruction and assessment in the elementary grades. In this practical session, Adrienne will outline how to set up your weekly writing routines, class writing goals, daily mini lessons, focusing on the process rather than the product. She will share some ideas of how to use assessment to target the needs of your students and, as always, her favourite anchor books for teaching writing will be featured.
