This session will showcase the use of physical movement in the hallways with sensory paths, that meet educational outcomes with numeracy, literacy goals and targeted speech.
We will explain the benefits of students using the movement tools, and how it helps with regulation, letter recognition, speech sounds, blends, and prepositions.
We will explain the process of how to implement movement in the hallways, how I make them and where the ideas come from.

I am a TABT with ECSD who is passionate about the Moving in the Hallways initiative that ECSD rolled out in 2019. I enjoy creating sensory paths, wall visuals and seeing the students use them to get their wiggles out and help focus in the classrooms.
