This hands on workshop will outline the basics of starting tomatoes from seed while exploring such topics as the environment, food chains, cultural tastes, history, farming, and advertising . We’ll also explore the ways one can engage communities and neighborhoods in a very low budget, high reward project. Check out the children’s book What Grew in Larry’s Garden by Laura Alary.
