Meeting the needs of all our learners in an inclusive classroom can be challenging! More and more students are dealing with traumatic experiences that can make it more difficult to learn.  We as educators can be the most significant connection for many of our students.  Ensuring our students are “Ready to Learn” requires a Christ-Centered Trauma Informed approach. It is not a program, but a transformation of the heart.  When we recognize and meet a student’s unmet need(s), we are setting them up for success and the academics will follow.  Weaving the works and key messages of Dr. Jody Carrington, Jimmy Casas, Pope Francis and more, Patti and Rebecca will share the journey of one school becoming a Christ-Centred Trauma Informed community.
